University of Gadjah Mada Scholarship 2021 Indonesia Fully Funded

The 2021 Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia scholarship is now accepting applications. This is a fully-funded scholarship that covers all costs for international students to study a full-time master’s or doctoral program based on study and research results. In 2020, Gadjah Mada University is number 320 in the latest world university ranking.

This year, a total of 19 scholarships are offered. Almost all academic fields and major subjects are available for study. The university does not charge application fees. All participants from Asia, Africa, Latin America, Pacific, Middle East, and Eastern Europe can apply.

The application must be submitted online and all documents must be submitted online. Gadjah Mada scholarship offers full and partial scholarships in all relevant and agreed fields. 1. Partial GMIF insurance subsidy

This type of scholarship is offered to international students from the above countries.

  • Tuition fee waived (2 semesters for the double degree program, 4 semesters for the master’s program)
  • 1 semester for the Indonesian language program / INCULS (Blended Learning System) only for those who register for the INCULS program
  • An international return flight (direct economy class)
  • Health insurance during the scholarship program
  • Limited Residence Permit (ITAS) during the scholarship program
  • Research fund for final theses of Rp 10,000,000 for master’s program
  • Students must cover their own living expenses while studying in Indonesia. The average cost of living in Yogyakarta is $ 210

Eligibility criteria and requirements:

  1. Must be an international student.
  2. Must be accepted to be admitted to the master’s or doctoral program
  3. Hold a bachelor’s degree for a master’s degree candidate or a master’s degree for a doctoral student in engineering, science, medicine/health, geography, agriculture and forestry, animal sciences, economics, law, social and human sciences, or related fields
  4. Excellent undergraduate academic degree (GPA of at least 3.0 on the 4.0 GPA scale or other documents demonstrating applicants have adequate academic qualifications) for Masters applicants
  5. Good command of English (TOEFL score of at least 400 to apply for a master’s degree or 450 to apply to the doctoral program
  6. Thesis proposal for doctoral students
  7. Provide the required supporting documents.
